Kundalini Yoga is an ancient technology and study allowing the practitioner to peel back layers of habituation, distraction and stress to discover their deepest and most authentic Self. Through sequences of breath-work, repetitive movements, static postures, mantras, eye-gazes, visualization, meditations and more this dynamic practice invigorates and activates each student to build awareness, presence and grit.
Suited for all levels, some classes are physically demanding, while others require more mental stamina. Ultimately the practice of Kundalini Yoga fosters deep meditation, calms the mind and develops expanded consciousness. Kundalini Yoga focuses on the student’s inner experience and not the outward appearance. Teachers will describe but not always demonstrate or practice exercises throughout the class. Follow guidance as best you can, keep up and rest if discomfort ever becomes pain.
